Wondering what to study? This list could guide you...
They say money makes the world go round, and although being happy in your job is important, we can all agree that the amount of money a job offers is usually equally important, if not more important.
Salary Explorer, an online salary comparison and career resources website for both employees and employers, recently revealed the ten highest-paying jobs in South Africa.
This list is based on salary information collected from users, recruitment agencies, companies, and other employers.
For this list, Salary Explorer only included jobs in the formal sector.
Although South Africa has seen a drop in the average formal, non-agricultural salary, there are still jobs that offer payments way above the country's average income.
Based on the findings, doctors are the highest earners in the country, with an average salary of R116,000 per month.
