Well, some people might disagree.
A Japanese eatery has caused a lot of controversy after a viral video revealed its unique face-slapping service.
Watch here:
According to the Asia News Network, Shachihoko-ya izakaya restaurant in Nagoya, Japan, faced closing its doors before it started offering patrons the service of being slapped in their face before meals.
This service has gained a lot of traction and allegedly saved the business.
It is said that one member of the staff initially did the face slapping upon request, but due to its popularity, management employed many women to slap patrons at a fee.

According to Asia News Network, patrons had to pay R13 (100 yen) per slap.
"The harder the female staff slapped them, the more excited the patrons became," said the YouTube video narration on the Save Your Money In Japan channel, which initially posted the video.
"Not only were the patrons not angry, but they appeared to feel more relaxed after getting hit. They would even thank the staff member who smacked them.
"The male waiters, known as 'Shachihoko Boys', wear golden body suits and fish-shaped headdresses inspired by the tavern's logo, while the female staff wear gold kimonos," reports Daily Mail.
