According to reports, the Fidelity cash-in-transit vehicle was unable to drive due to a mechanical failure.

One of the Fidelity guards was attempting to push the vehicle in order to start the vehicle when other bystanders started helping him.

Usually, this would have been the perfect opportunity for crime, but rather some faith was restored in South Africa.
