As the plane started to descend uncontrollably, the pilot was forced to deploy the plane's Ballistic Recovery System (BRS), launching a parachute.
A video taken by a bystander shows the plane's parachute being deployed and then making its way down, crashing nose-first on the side of the road. The plane crashed into a fence with its left wing on top of a white van.
