The WedReady board and sponsors found it impossible to choose a winner of the wedding valued at R175,000!

So, Stephanie from Jackrabbit delivered two special chocolate hearts and a mallet. Each chocolate heart contained the name of a finalist.

They narrowed it down to two couples and left it up to Martin Bester to smash his heart of choice with a mallet.

And the winners are... Chantè and Shane!

But wait – there’s more! The other four finalists will get a beautifully styled photoshoot to the value of R2,500 and a 15% discount on a wedding dress from Jolache Couture.

Tune in on @jacarandafm, @jacabreakfast to hear about our tough past year between 8 & 8:30 tomorrow We have been together for almost 5 years, on tbe 28thOctober 2019 we got engaged and Immediately started planning our wedding!  Thanks to Coronavirus, thousands of people have been influenced, and as if the emotions of living through a global pandemic weren’t enough to process,we are now trying to reconcile the way that the happiest day of our life has now somehow become a source of sadness and disappointment. But this was not the only reason why we have been asking the question "why us" 2019 and 2020 has honestly learned us so many life lessons and in the hardest ways possible. In 2019 we got engaged on the 28th of October and we could not explain the excitement.7 days later we were in an accident traveling on our way to PE in an accident where the truck driver drove us off the road and we rolled 5 times and got severe injuries where I broke my pelvis and sacrum in several places and my Fiance Fractured his C5 and C6.Only being engaged for a few days and having to be apart from each other as I was hospitalised but in Bloemfontein 425km away from home and this just after I started with a new company.4 weeks & 4 operations later I was finally on my way closer to home to my fiancé as I was admitted in a recovery unit where I spent my days with physiotherapists and psychologist having to learn how to walk and use my pelvis again. Almost months 2 later I was finally on my way home to reunite with my fiance as a newly engaged couple. Unfortunately did not end there I was retrenched from my role as a Sales Manager.  With lots of faith and support I got a new role with my previous employer I was so thankful and so excited to return to work and to work hard and plan our wedding. But then again life hit us hard and learned us just another life lesson.  COVID 19.Lockdown There we were thinking this will be over soon and here we are, months later and yet not given the opportunity like a normal couples to plan the most special day! Its been hard! But we still have FAITH and we are excited to start planning our wedding!  #JACABREAKFAST #wedreadywinawedding
