Rob Forbes and Rozanne McKenzie recently read a story of an Uber driver who donated his kidney to one of his passengers.

This led to an open and honest conversation about organ donation.

Rob also has a personal connection with someone whose life depends on whether or not she receives the necessary medical attention. This means her life depends on her receiving the right organ.

Rob and Roz quickly realised that there is a lack of awareness when it comes to organ donation. So they decided to do something about it and spoke to Jooste Vermeulen, the Executive Director of Business Development at the Organ Donor Foundation.

They made sure to ask all the important questions like:

How does it work?
How many people are in desperate need of donated organs?
Why are people not registering as organ donors?
