Serena Williams reveals why daughter almost never attended her tennis matches

Tennis legend Serena Williams recently opened up about why she never wanted her daughter, Olympia, to attend her tennis matches.
In a recent TV interview with Drew Barrymore, the 23-time Grand Slam winner, Serena Williams (41), revealed why she never wanted her daughter, Olympia, to attend her tennis matches.

Williams said that she would just get distracted and worry too much when her daughter would watch her play.
"I just was worried I'd get distracted because I would be like, 'Wait is she drinking? Is she doing this?'"

"She came to a match once, like super brief, and I was like, 'Oh my God, is she wearing sun cream?"
"I would get stressed out and be like 'Wait a minute, oh my goodness I've got to serve,'" Williams laughed.

Earlier this month, Williams announced her retirement and played her last match at the US Open against Australia's Ajla Tomljanovic.
