Naturally, the Springbok players are receiving a lot of love and support, not only from South African fans but from their friends and family as well.

And when it comes to the love of a grandparent, it truly is something special.

In a Rugby World Cup-themed campaign, Castle Lager has launched a video series where they sit down with some of the Springboks' grandmothers to discuss their grandchildren.

The first episode of The Gran Boks is an adorable interview with Malcolm Marx's lovely gran, Melody Anderson, who has been watching her grandson play rugby since he was 15 years old.

She also says that as soon as he gets on the field, he becomes a different person and that "he's like a chameleon" with the way his eyes watch the ball.

Melody also talks about what it's like to watch Marx play and how it makes her feel:

Sadly, since the release of this video, Marx has been ruled out of the World Cup due to injury. We have no doubt, however, that his gran will be cheering on the other boys as they look to do us all proud.

We can't wait to hear what the other Bok Grannies have to say!
