Volkswagen SA wants YOU to name its new SUV!
There are four options, but only one can win...

From Polos to Tiguans, South Africans love a VW.
Now, a new entry-level SUV is on its way to SA, and Volkswagen has decided not to name it.
Instead, they provided four options and South Africans must vote for their favourite.

The local division has not fully unveiled the new SUV, but all signs point to it being closely based on the Volkswagen Tera, a Brazilian product.

Volkswagen SA also plans to produce it at its Kariega plant in the Eastern Cape starting in 2027.
According to IOL, VWSA CEO Martina Biene told the media that the car will be adapted for the African market and also needs a unique name.

The four options are:
- Tengo
- Tavi
- Tiva
- Tion
These are also not just random names.
While continuing their trend of 'T'-named SUVs, they have provided meanings for all the names.
