The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is "one of the world’s greatest showcases for horticultural excellence".

The show was established in 1913 on the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London and has grown from 244 exhibitors to over 400 horticultural exhibits.

The annual flower show attracts up to 145,000 visitors who enjoy strolling through the beautiful exhibits.

In 2025, South Africa claimed another gold medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Leon Kluge, an acclaimed horticulturist and floral legend, his right-hand Tristan Woudberg and their entire team managed to put together a spectacular, truly proudly South African floral display.

This year's display was inspired by the ocean and explored the influence of the two oceans, the Indian and Atlantic, on the flora in our country.

The display showcased fynbos and cliff-dwelling plant arrangements, with Leon calling SA “the flower basket of Africa”.
