Auspicious days like today, makes us remember our loved ones even those that have passed. Mmasea reminds us that we need to still celebrate their lives.
Losing a loved one is a difficult time in everyones lives but auspicious occasions like Mother's Day brings back memories that we often ignore because it is just too hard.
Our BreakfastXtra host Mmasea, lost her Mother in 2003 and has struggled with celebrating Mother's Day because she found that it was unfair that she was not with her.
As part of her healing found that is was ok to celebrate the memories and the good times and well as the people who helped fill that gap.
