Arsenal star fights off bat-wielding thugs
Arsenal defender Gabriel has gone viral for fighting off bat-wielding robbers.
Gabriel has gone viral because of a video showing him defending himself against armed robbers. He is a defender in more than one sense.

Recently, the player and his friend were followed home by two robbers who demanded that he and his friend give them all their valuables, including his car keys.
One of the robbers holding a baseball bat lunged at Gabriel, who then wrestled with the robber before he ran away.

One of the attackers was later apprehended by the police because of DNA evidence left during the scuffle.
