Audi driver escapes attempted robbery in Durban

Hijackings are becoming the norm in our country, and we're seeing more of these videos being shared on social media.

Last week we shared a video of a family escaping a hijacking in Midrand, and yesterday, another video was shared on the Isec Security Facebook page. 

This video shows an attempted robbery, apparently in Durban. In the video, a red Audi can be seen stopping at a private entrance before the security guard approaches to get more details from the motorist. Just as the security guard is attempting to get access for the motorist, another car parks behind the Audi and two armed men exit and approach.

The perpetrators then approach their target from both sides and knock on the windows. The skilled driver immediately reverses out of the tight spot and escapes. The perps jump back into their car and give chase. It is not yet known if the robbers gave up on their chase or how the entire ordeal ended.
