Mom charged after pouring water on sleeping child
An American woman poured water on her sleeping baby's face as "revenge".
A woman named Caitlin Hardy from Sumter County, South Carolina, has been charged after posting a video online in which she poured water on her sleeping baby’s face.
Hardy said that she was “getting revenge” after her baby woke her up throughout the night. The video went viral after a Facebook page dedicated to fighting child abuse shared the video, along with the mother’s name.
The 33-year-old is accused of causing “ill-treatment, unnecessary pain and suffering, and/or deprivation of necessary sustenance" upon a 9-month-old girl in connection to the video which was filmed in Sumter County, South Carolina, on January 26, 2019.
