An attempted smash and grab incident has caused a bit of panic on social media.

South Africans are worried after an attempted smash and grab incident at a traffic light was caught on camera.
Being stuck in traffic is already stressful, now add the risk of getting robbed while you're stuck between other cars with nowhere to run. A video has been widely shared showing an incident most urban-dwelling South Africans are familiar with.
In the video, two thugs casually walk up to a Toyota Tazz waiting at a red traffic light, pull out an object and attempt to smash the window but fail. The terrified driver of the Tazz moves forward in a panic and almost hits the car in front. The thugs then move away from the car.
