Passer-by steals from elderly man lying helplessly on floor

CCTV footage has gone viral showing a passer-by stealing a cellphone off of a man who was badly beaten and stabbed by a Durban mob.
The video, released by News24, shows Bonginkosi Shange being beaten with all sorts of things, including sticks, golf clubs, and bats. As he lay helplessly on the ground, a passer-by can be seen turning him over before another person comes and takes his cellphone. The incident took place on Monday.
"I was just trying to go to my work. I was just walking and they hit me everywhere," he told News24. Shange was reportedly the victim of a mob of angry rioters who did not approve of the ANC’s choice of ward councilor for their area.
