Petrol station explodes, tourists injured

Watch the dramatic moment a petrol station explodes, burning the skin of two female tourists.
The video shows a tanker containing more than 2,000 litres of fuel bursting into flames.

The explosion took place in Cambodia's Siem Reap province. Dashcam footage, which was shared on The New York Post, shows how the petrol station suddenly burst into flames - hitting a passing motorcyclist who was knocked to the ground from the force of the explosion.
According to Daily Motion, it took more than one hour for firefighters to extinguish the blaze successfully and staff at the shop and several pedestrians were also hurt.
Deputy police chief of Siem Reap province, Brigadier General Phing Sambath, told Daily Motion that a total of 13 people, including police officers, guards, and female westerners, were wounded in the blast.
''The two foreigners, whose nationalities are not identified, had their skins burned while passing through the gas station when the tank exploded.''
The cause of the explosion has not been identified as yet, but the investigation is underway as authoroties are gathering CCTV footage and questioning some witnesses.
