The South African Police Service (SAPS) recently busted a counterfeit soap operation in Springs, and people were a bit upset.

The SAPS said they "executed a search and seizure disruptive operation in counterfeit goods Act 37 of 1997, at the premises in Selection Park, Springs."
The police also seized many counterfeit labels of well-known soap brands and other soap manufacturing equipment.

Some people were quite disappointed in the counterfeiter, saying: "This is great business though, could have worked well and created employment, if they used their name and registered the business...we were going to buy that washing powder."
