Porsche driver narrowly avoids causing a head-on crash

A Porsche driver escaped causing what could have been a fatal accident in the UK by the skin of her teeth.

According to Metro, the woman driver, who was wearing slippers, was in a rush to pick up her husband, and overtook the car in front on a blind corner, before seeing an oncoming Skoda. This led to the Porsche driver veering into the Citroen and the Skoda driver mounting the grass verge.

"She put at least several lives in jeopardy by attempting that overtake. We were just all in complete shock – we couldn’t believe what we were seeing because it was just so reckless. We were just getting up to the national speed limit and we were approaching a slow moving tractor and then the Porsche just came flying past. We genuinely thought it was a definite head-on collision,” the man who recorded the accident, Damien Hodgson, told the publication.

"The Porsche driver told me she thought she was going to die. She was shaking like a leaf and on the edge of crying as she knew she had done wrong – she was hugging the Citroen driver and was apologetic," he added.
