are tough for all businesses, but is it really bad enough to lay off 900 people?
A video of the CEO of Better.com firing 15% of his workforce has gone viral and people are fairly upset about it.

In the video filmed by an employee, the CEO says that the year has been difficult financially and that it meant hard decisions had to be made.
He then says that he has only had to do this twice in his career, before he tells all the employees on the Zoom call that they are the unfortunate people to get fired.

The man who is filming the Zoom call can be heard hurling profanities at the screen in his understandable anger at being fired in the festive season.
