It
is amazing to see the dolphins protecting their mammal friend!

When Adam Walker set out to complete a 26-kilometer swim across the Cook Straight, the last thing he expected was a dolphin entourage.

While he was swimming, he spotted a massive great white shark swimming just a few meters away.
The dolphins close by gathered around him and formed a protective circle, which is a common defence strategy used by them.

After the encounter, Walker commented: “I’d like to think they were protecting me and guiding me home” and “This swim will stay with me forever.”
