Smith slapping Chris Rock has received various reactions - and now Jim Carrey
has weighed in.
Jim Carrey responded to the Oscars fiasco where Chris Rock was slapped by Will Smith because of a joke the comedian made.

The joke about Smith’s wife’s hair led to the star coming up on stage and slapping him after which he shouted expletives at him.
Carey added that “Hollywood is just spineless en masse and it really felt like this is a really clear indication that we aren’t the cool club anymore.”

Many people agreed with him and commented: “Jim Carrey is 10000% right, the situation didn’t escalate, IT WAS A JOKE. Words don’t give you the right to physically assault someone.”.
