male lion was spotted running around freely near a road in KZN.
Recently, a video showing an escaped lion has been doing the rounds on social media because it was not the first time something like this has happened.

In the video, you see a lion walking casually through the brush on the roadside near Ulundi in KZN.
It seems that the lion came from the nearby Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park in KwaZulu-Natal - and this was not the first escape by a wild beast.

The repeated animal escapes are being caused by a broken fence, and some of the escapees included rhinos, buffalo, and wild dogs.
