WATCH: Mom warns adults to stop hugging kids without consent
Updated | By Mornings with Mack Rapapali
Do you constantly tell your kids to hug their grandma, aunts, and uncles? You could be breaching their consent...
Most of us have had this sort of experience where a parent asks us to give your grandma a hug or even a kiss.
We also recognise that feeling of discomfort when you're forced to give hugs when you don't wish to, most times it's not even a request, an adult can at any time give you a hug or a kiss as a show of affection. An Australian mom has shared on TikTok a warning to adults about the importance of teaching children about consent.

Brittany Baxter posted an impassioned message aimed at the adults in her own child’s life who complain about having to ask the one-year-old permission for a hug or a kiss.
Baxter says she has been teaching her child about consent almost “since the day she was born.” She emphasises that a child does not have to hug and kiss adults if they don't wish to. Watch the video below.
