Woman brutally attacked, run over for her purse
An horrific robbery where a woman was beaten up and run over with a car has the world in shock.
A woman in Texas, USA was blindsided by two men who were after her handbag in front of a petrol station.
According to some reports, the woman had a handbag containing $75,000 (R1,069,890) in cash in her possession at the time of the brutal robbery.
In the shocking video, the first suspect jumped out of a car as soon as the victim walked out of her car, the two struggled for the bag and the woman refused to let go.
The victim was then dragged to the ground when a man ran out of the shop to assist. While the three of them fought over the bag, a third vehicle showed up, seemingly out of nowhere and a man jumped out and proceeded to assist the robber! The violent fight continues until the woman almost loses the battle, taking big blows to her head and body. When the robbers saw that the woman would not relent, they decided to drive over her and her assistant with their vehicle.

This horrific incident took place at the Valero on Cypress North Houston, and it is believed that the woman is to co-owner of the store. The suspects have since been arrested and the woman was taken to the hospital in a critical condition.
