Woman who licked ice-cream tub and put it back could get 20 years in prison
Police close in on solving a viral ice-cream-licking prank that shocked millions.
After investigating a now-viral video of a woman licking Blue Bell's ice-cream at a grocery store and then putting the 'tainted' tub back on the shelf, it has been confirmed that the guilty culprit may be sentenced to up to 20 years.

A video shared on Saturday shows the woman licking the Tin Roof-flavored ice-cream - she then puts the lid back on and places it back on the refrigerator shelf. After this, the woman is seen laughing.
The video has been viewed more than 12-million times.

According to New York Post, police in Texas believe they have identified the culprit after “detectives had obtained surveillance video placing a woman matching the suspect description in the Lufkin [Walmart] on June 28 around 11 p.m,”
Police are waiting to verify her identity before issuing an arrest warrant on second-degree tampering with a consumer product — a felony that carries a prison sentence of 2-20 years and up to $10,000 in fines, according to the Texas state penal code.
