68-year-old Rikkie Bierman was a 'Scope Magazine' model in 1972 - 47 years ago.

Jane Shepperd-Smith and Louis Du Buisson approached her and asked her if she would model for them. They said they needed someone with dark hair to model jewellery for the 'Scope Magazine.'

Her photo was banned because it exposed too much feminine flesh.

Rikkie, who was in her 20's at the time, posed for the pictures without her parent’s permission.

"Scope asked me to pose with jewellery for a client. I'm not sure how I got topless - but I'm very comfortable being naked," she told Rian van Heerden and the team.

She currently lives in Pretoria and is microbiologist by profession but she is currently a personal assistant at an advertising company.

Rikkie, who is a widow, has two adult sons. Both are aware that their mother posed naked for the Scope in 1972.

"I had to pose with my hands over my assets so that the magazine couldn't be banned. The magazine was banned a week later. My pictures got the magazine banned, but it was also sold out."
