Taking public transport can be unpleasant. Whether there is not enough space in your seat, the driver's music is too loud or the airconditioning is non-existent, you can find many things to complain about when you take a taxi or a bus.

Seasoned commuters may choose to ignore the issues and focus solely on getting to their destination safely. And, when it comes to dealing with the bad attitudes of fellow commuters, some people may choose to be firm but silent in fighting to make their travel experience as pleasant as possible.

For these two bus passengers in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia the only way to settle a dispute over whether the window should stay open or closed was for neither of them to concede defeat. The man and woman were filmed by a fellow commuter as they opened and closed the window, fighting wordlessly about whose method of airconditioning was most efficient.

Without looking at each other or even talking, the two passengers go back and forth in the battle for the window for four straight minutes.

These are two people well-versed in the passive-aggressive attitude that one sometimes needs in order to survive a commute on public transport.
