Photographs are a great way to capture moments between friends or of special places. Whether you believe in the supernatural or not, these pictures will have you do a double-take.

Rian, who has a strong interest in all things "unexplainable", asked listeners to send in pictures where they think they might have spotted a ghost. After receiving a number of pictures, the Scenic Drive team shortlisted 10 that really got them thinking.

A photographer, Jacques du Preez, joined the Scenic Drive to discuss all the images and why certain images look like there is a ghost in it.

"Sometimes we want to see a 'ghost' in photos. The first photo of the group of girls, you can see it's photoshopped. 

"The one picture that I am not sure of is number 9. What I can see, is that there is not a lot of light. It is also very blurry.

"The person who took the photo was moving and that could've caused the blurry photo.

"I was told that there are only two people in the photo. After the photo was taken, three appeared in the photo - it is very weird."

Top South African paranormalist, Mark Rose-Christie joined the Scenic Drive to talk about the Erasmus Castle also known as “Die Spookhuis” or “The Haunted House.” 

The castle is known for the ‘Mystery Ghost - Lady In Black’ that is seen in the photo below.

According to, Mark Rose-Christie, this photo is real and not photoshopped.
