Child holds on for dear life as motorbike careens down highway
A child who had been riding on a motorbike with two adults was left clinging onto the vehicle after it crashed into some barriers.
Motorcycles are a popular mode of transport in India, where they are even used as taxis. Citizens are accustomed to loading themselves and their luggage onto the back of the two-wheeled vehicle and zooming to their destinations.
But once in a while an accident that brings the safety of the vehicles into question occurs.
While travelling down a highway on the back of a motorcycle with two adults, a child was involved in an accident. The driver, apparently losing control of the motorcycle, crashes into another motorcycle driving ahead of him. He falls onto the road, followed by the mother who tumbles over both vehicles and lands on the ground.

The motorcycle, remarkably, remains upright and continues speeding down the road with no driver - but with the child still hanging onto it. The horrifying scene lasted for minutes as the motorcycle propelled itself forward for another 243 metres before coming to a stop on the side of the road.
Thankfully, the child did not suffer any major injuries.
There have been no reports on whether either of the drivers will face any criminal charges.
