The first vegetable she planted was corn.

She pampers her plants with compost she makes herself. The plants are watered with a garden hose that she runs from the house across the road.

Mfeka visited the Scenic Drive to talk about her vegetable sidewalk.

"I give vegetables to my neighbours and everyone. It keeps me busy and healthy."
