Hans Strydom, legend of SA entertainment, sits down with Rian
Updated | By The Scenic Drive with Rian
Hans Strydom is a household name in South African entertainment.
South African actor Hans Strydom will always be remembered as the first person to appear on television in South Africa. Since then, Hans steadily created a varied and impressive acting profile for himself, with his first "big break" being Jamie Uys's The Gods Must be Crazy. Some may also remember him from his radio drama days.
These days Hans can be seen in the long-running Afrikaans soapie Binnelanders.
Hans spends most of his time on his farm in Krugersdorp, where he keeps sheep and cows. This is in line with Hans's preference for keeping his own company and living a quiet life.
Hans is known for eluding the media, seldom giving interviews. Rian is glad to have been able to secure this time with the legend.
