"I have never been in a relationship' - Listener confesses to Rian van Heerden

On Tuesday, Rian van Heerden had lunch with friends and realized that he has never been in a relationship with someone for longer than two years. 

Rian van Heerden was curious to know if there are listeners who have never been in a relationship.

Rian van Heerden opened the telephone line for listeners to share their stories with him. 

A few listeners called in to share their story about being single. One listener called in and confessed that she has never been in a relationship. 

"I was never interested in any love relationships. It is my choice and I prefer my own company," Shirley Watts.

"I like to do my own thing. I also like my own space and my own bed."
