"I was living a complete lie" - Tamar Braxton after suicide attempt

Award-winning singer and TV personality Tamar Braxton opened up about battling with "depression and anxiety" in a tell-all interview.

In July, American singer, reality star, and former host of 'The Real', Tamar Braxton was rushed to hospital after she tried taking her own life after being found "unresponsive" in her hotel room. 

Braxton opened up on 'The Tamron Hall Show' about her mental health.

Braxton was at the “lowest point” when she attempted to take her own life earlier this year, as she opened up on her battle with “depression and anxiety”.

"I was living a complete lie that I was okay," Braxton started the interview. 

"It's been a lot of dark, hard times. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety," Braxton revealed. 

The star also revealed that she is not taking medication, but she is in counselling.
