Imtiaz Sooliman shares some highlights of his Gift of the Givers journey

The Gift of the Givers Foundation is the largest African disaster relief organisation on the continent. Founder Imtiaz Sooliman talks to Rian this evening on the Scenic Drive.
Imtiaz Sooliman, a doctor by training, started work on the Gift of the Givers Foundation in August 1992 after a life-changing conversation with a spiritual teacher in Istanbul, Turkey.
Since its inception, the non-governmental organisation has provided Search and Rescue teams, medical personnel and supplies, anti-malaria medication as well as food and water to 43 countries, including South Africa.
The Foundation has expanded its services to include bursaries, agricultural self-sustainability, job creation and educational support.
