Jilted lover's dramatic reaction to rejection caught on video

A woman in eastern China turned a goodbye kiss into a bloody affair when she bit the tongue of her soon-to-be ex-boyfriend, causing bystanders to call the police to intervene.
Breaking up is hard to do, and it can be even more difficult if one partner is quicker to fall out of love than the other.
For one Chinese couple, the end of a relationship was also the beginning of a trip to the hospital. The twentysomethings, identified only as Ms Zhou and Mr Liu, were talking through their break-up when, according to eyewitnesses, Ms Zhou asked her boyfriend for one last kiss.

That is when the trouble started. Not willing to let go of Mr Liu that easily, Ms Zhou literally locked her lips onto his and refused to let go. What's more, she bit down on her soon-to-be ex's tongue, drawing blood and causing him to cry out in pain.
The police were called in and had to use pepper spray on Ms Zhou in order to diffuse the situation. While Mr Liu did not sustain any major injuries, he was taken to hospital.

When asked what could have caused Ms Zhou to behave in this manner, her parents cited previous problems with mental health, describing how she "recently became 'mentally unstable' after being scammed while shopping online".
If the relationship had been slowly fizzling out before, then this incident might be what grinds it to a halt for good.
