Melissa Cohen-Biden is the daughter-in-law of Joe Biden and proudly South African.

In 2019, Melissa Cohen-Biden married the US president-elect Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden.
According to reports, the Biden couple first met through one of her friends, who suggested he give her a call. The couple got married six days after they first met.

Earlier this year, Melissa gave birth to their first child, a son.
Melissa spends her time working as an activist - working on justice issues, focusing on the environment, mistreated and endangered animals, mistreated workers, and refugees - long before she met Hunter Biden.
