Kate Liquorish and Tiffany Barbuzano talk all things 'Queen Sono' and 'Still Breathing'

Kate Liquorish is currently playing billionaire businesswoman and brutal villain 'Ekaterina Gromova' in Netflix’s first SAfrican original for global release - 'Queen Sono'. 

'Queen Sono' is about a highly trained South African spy that takes on her most dangerous mission yet while facing changing relationships in her personal life.

Liquorish plays 'Ekaterina', heiress of an oligarch family with ulterior motives and she speaks Russian! 

"She is amazing. I had to learn how to fight and how to speak Russian.

"I had six weeks to learn how to speak Russian. I got a teacher to talk me through every scene.

"I have never worked so hard in my life. It's nuts."

Liquorish is also seen in the M-Net drama 'Still Breathing' as 'Abi'.

Tiffany Barbuzano

'Still Breathing' is a gripping and deeply moving drama series about a group of old friends who have drifted apart as they have grown older. 

They are brought together when tragedy strikes - causing forgotten wounds to break open, old flames of passion to rekindle and secrets which lay buried, to finally be uncovered.

Barbuzano wrote, produced and directed the drama.
