On some days, even the keenest athletes need to just take it easy. If you are a regular at the gym, you can also relate to needing to add some simpler exercises to your routine. It's all in the name of balance.

But be careful of using 'balance' as an excuse for laziness. 

A man in China was filmed 'walking' on a treadmill while having a snack. The man looks very comfortable and obviously believes that he is doing a lot of hard work as he can be seen dabbing sweat away from his forehead with his towel.

Is this kind of approach to gym pure genius, or ridiculously lazy?

To his credit, the man is prepared for exercise: he has on the appropriate shoes, and he has liquids on-hand to stave off dehydration. Whether the rice wine is as good for his health as water would be is up for debate. 

He is taking it easy and enjoying some snacks while building tone and muscle in his legs. This is a winning formula!
