The production for season five of 'The Crown' is underway - and actress Elizabeth Debicki was seen filming for her role as Princess Diana.
In 2020, it was announced that Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki would play Princess Diana in the upcoming season five of 'The Crown'.

"Princess Diana's spirit, her words and her actions live in the hearts of so many. It is my true privilege and honour to be joining this masterful series, which had me absolutely hooked from episode one," Debicki said in a statement.

According to reports, the new season will cover Princess Diana's bombshell interview with the BBC program 'Panorama', where she discussed the end of her marriage to Prince Charles, his relationship with Camilla Parker Bowles, and her feeling unsupported by the royal institution.

The season will also cover the moment Princess Diana wore the black off-the-shoulder dress on the same night Prince Charles publicly admitted in a TV documentary that he had been unfaithful in their marriage.

The iconic dress went against royal dress codes, made headlines all over the world, thus receiving the "revenge dress" nickname.
New images were released of Debicki filming scenes as the beloved princess.
