Make My Monday: A Wüsthof Gourmet surprise for Father's Day
All that Chris de Kooker wanted for Father's Day was a Wüsthof knife that chefs Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver uses. The Scenic Drive surprised Chris with a special gift.
HERE'S MELANIE'S MESSAGE:
I met my husband in 2016. We got married in 2017. I have a son from a previous marriage. Marnus is now 17. In the year we got married to my ex-husband, my son's father passed away. I and my son went through some difficult times.
Like a lot of people in life, we also have some life stories to tell and sad moments. But we are so blessed and spoiled, and my husband since we've met him made it his mission to make us happy. He does not have any kids but even some of my son's friends call him dad. In a good funny way. It's now lockdown but like teenagers are they always have somewhere to be and always hungry and busy with sport and lose stuff and he just makes sure they are always sorted. He is always there for my son and his friends, myself and my family.
Chris is a great cook so we always get spoiled with great food. Chris is a great person, husband and father. And I know he doesn't want anything in return but I know he would love to have a Jamie Oliver or Gordon Ramsey knife. We are currently living with his parents as we bought a new house before lockdown and must wait for registration. He is always busy when he is not working with food preparation and sharpening the kitchen knives and chopping and he deserves something nice as he is always busy looking after our needs. And I thought that you could help me with that.
