Make My Monday: Weekend away for special couple
With the help of Goldwagen, the Scenic Drive team was able to assist a couple with a weekend away to celebrate the month of love.
The Scenic Drive with Rian received a letter from Michelle Voster to make her parents' Monday.
"My mom (Hantie Vorster) and dad (Ettienne Vorster) will be married for 28 years on 11 February 2022. What is more special is that he is my stepdad. He adopted me a year after their wedding and has been there for me since. They had good times and very hard times in their marriage. The most important lesson they taught me is that you stick together NO MATTER WHAT! Family is the most important treasure.

"So since their honeymoon in 1994, they have never been away on their anniversary. I would like to nominate them for Make My Monday. Either a romantic weekend away or a romantic dinner or anything where they can celebrate their awesome life together.

"I would really like to give something back to them to show that I appreciate EVERYTHING they are doing for me and my son. They have been there since the beginning and are still supporting us in ways I can't even begin to explain.
