On Thursday, a video went viral on social media of a girl bullying a young boy during school hours in Gauteng.

In the video, the unidentified girl can be heard trying to intimidate the teenager, asking him several times if he is scared. She laughed and started hitting the boy in his face. He tried to cover his face - and she said that he must remove his hands from his face.

The boy, out of fear, listens to her and removes his hands. She then punches him in the face and he drops to his knees.

The Scenic Drive's Joe Mann shared his daughter's emotional story about being bullied at school.

"My daughter is being bullied at school. Two boys in her class bullied her about her appearance," Joe says.

"They teased her that she needs to be in a 'special school'.

"She took a packet of feta cheese to school - and they told others that she is doing drugs.

"It came to a point where she made excuses to skip school.

"I went to school and they told me that she had a headache. When I arrived she ran up to me, hugged me, and started crying.

"It crushed her."
