Chilli Con Carne, meaning 'chili with meat', is a spicy stew containing chili peppers, meat, and often tomatoes and beans. 

Ingredients:

• 1 kg beef mince
• 400 g onions, cut in brunoise
• 10 ml garlic, crushed
• 10 ml chillies, finely chopped
• 1 red pepper, diced
• 1 green pepper, diced
• 5 ml ground coriander
• 15 ml ground cumin
• 5 ml ground cinnamon
• 2.5 ml peri-peri powder
• 5 ml oregano
• 75 ml tomato paste
• 410 g baked beans (1 tin)
• 30 ml flour
• 250 ml of water
• 25 ml beef stock powder
• 10 ml salt
• 45 ml oil.

Metode: 

1. Fry mince in hot oil until all liquid has evaporated and start browning.
2. Add flour and onions and sauté for 5 minutes.
3. Add chillies, garlic, coriander, cumin, cinnamon, peri peri, oregano, beef stock, salt, tomato paste and sauté for 30 seconds.
4. Add water, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes.
5. In a food processor chop peppers coarsely.

6. Add peppers and baked beans to mince and simmer for another minute.
