Rian van Heerden wins 'Potjiekos Cook-off' against actor Ben Kruger

A few weeks ago, The Scenic Drive team had a Potjiekos Cook-off between Rian van Heerden, Philicity Reeken and Joe Mann. 

After a fun-filled afternoon with music and cooking, the judges decided that Rian van Heerden should take the prize.

Iconic actor and Potjiekos champion, Ben Kruger visited the Scenic Drive and decided that he and Rian van Heerden should battle it out behind the pots. We even had a celebrity judge, Nicholis Louw to rate the best potjiekos.

The criteria included; aroma, colour, taste, texture and ingredients of the potjiekos. 

Rian van Heerden received the most points and won by 85,2%!
