"She is graceful and elegant" - Maps Maponyane on meeting the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle
Media personality and entrepreneur Maps Maponyane joined the Scenic Drive to talk more his brand new burger restaurant and meeting the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.
Masego Maponyane, famously known as 'Maps' is a South African television presenter, actor, fashion designer, speaker, model, creative consultant, voice-over artist, philanthropist and business entrepreneur.
Maponyane has been making serious waves recently when he opened his very own burger restaurant, 'Buns Out' in Linden.
"I always loved food and I always had this desire to open a restaurant - and I opened 'Buns Out' with my best friend."
In September 2019, Maponyane had the opportunity to meet the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, when she and her husband, Prince Harry visited Cape Town, South Africa.
"When I met Meghan Markle, we had a quick conversation but she is so graceful, elegant and down to earth.
"She complimented me on my outfit and I had no words - I just stared at her.
"We spoke about different social things and the work that we were doing. We also chatted about her little boy, Archie."
