South African actress Pamela Nomvete shares her incredible story
Updated | By The Scenic Drive with Rian
South African actress Pamela Nomvete stars in The Forgiven alongside Forest Whitaker.

South African audiences will recognise Pamela Nomvete as Ntsiki from Generations and, more recently, as one of the vicious wardens on Mzansi Magic's prison drama Lockdown. Pamela has performed in numerous international and local TV shows and theatre productions and has written an autobiography called Dancing to the Beat of the Drum: In Search of My Spiritual Home.
This year, Pamela can be seen in The Forgiven, a film that takes a fictional look at a crucial moment in Archbishop Desmond Tutu's life, where she plays the role of Leah Tutu.
Pamela reminisced about her time living in Manchester, England where her sister attended university. She shared a little bit about her role in the UK's longest-running soapie Coronation Street after Rian asked her what people say about her British accent.
She openly shared about the religion, saying it is the doctrine of cause and effect that drew her to it.
