The first Scenic #Straatbraai took place on Friday, 23 February - and it was a huge success! See what you missed in the video below.
On Friday, 23 February The Scenic Drive with Rian had the first #Straatbraai in Atlasville, Boksburg. The weather was a little bit gloomy, but the threat of rain did not stop residents of all ages from coming out into the street for the braai.
The fires were going, people came through with their cooler boxes, and everyone was excited to see Rian, Marcelle and Thabiso broadcasting live from their street. There was dancing, children rode up and down the street on their bikes and neighbours mingled while they braaied. This was shaping up to be the great #Straatbraai of days gone by.
In 2018, there is only one way to take a #Straatbraai to the next level: live entertainment! Die Ventertjies gave the crowd some great Boeremusiek to sokkie to, while young concertina virtuoso Kosie Beukes wowed with his energetic performance.
