Two arrested after violent bowling alley brawl
Updated | By The Scenic Drive with Rian
Two of the patrons involved in a violent fight at a Michigan bowling alley have been apprehended by police.
A night out at Apollo Lanes in Roseville, Michigan went from fun to near-fatal when an employee at the bowling alley asked a group of patrons who were being unruly to leave. Taking offence, the group began to attack the employee, jumping behind the counter and raining down blows on the 28-year-old man.
The man was hit with a chair as well as a bowling ball.
The two men who assaulted the employee have since been identified and apprehended by police. The man who is suspected of throwing the bowling ball is facing charges of interfering with a police report and assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder. If he is found guilty he may be jailed for up to 20 years.
The employee was taken to hospital for treatment, where it was discovered that the injuries to his head, which were caused by the bowling ball, were not too severe. Once he has recovered he plans to return to work.
There is an ongoing investigation into the details of the incident at Apollo Lanes.
