Vice President Kamala Harris tests positive for COVID-19

Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris tested positive for COVID-19.
Vice President, Kamala Harris, 57, tested positive for COVID-19.
Harris has no symptoms but will continue to isolate and follow the guidelines. She will isolate and work from the vice president's residence.
"Today, I tested positive for COVID-1. I have no symptoms, and I will continue to isolate and follow CDC guidelines. I'm grateful to be both vaccinated and boosted," Harris shared on Facebook.
A White House official told CBS News that Harris did go to the White House on Tuesday morning and was tested for the coronavirus in her West Wing office as part of her regular routine. Harris then left the White House in her motorcade after receiving a positive test.
Harris is the first female vice president and the highest-ranking female official in U.S. history, as well as the first African American and first Asian American vice president.
